When creating a Swivellink® mount the first thing you must decide is Imperial or Metric. The imperial will come with standard/English hardware and be blue in color. The metric will come with metric hardware and be gray in color. The screws supplied for the plates will vary between standard and metric depending on what the attached component requires.
Strength may vary based on applications & the overall length of the mount:
Below are some things to consider when choosing a size:
With our mounts you have the option for a single or dual arm setup. A single arm will hold one component and a dual arm will hold two components.
For example, a dual arm allows you to hold a camera and light on one mount.
The knuckles needed for your mount are dependent on whether it’s single or dual arm and the series of parts it’s made of.
(HD series is only available as single arm Imperial mounts)
Swivellink® offers different link sizes to help find that perfect length for most applications. Links are used with knuckles to extend the reach and increase the flexibility. The links are hollow to continue the cable routing ability.

The mounting plate is what the component will attach to. Please see pages 7-18 for different mounting plate options and page 5 for the different brands we have plates for.
Most of our plates come with hardware to mount the specified camera/light/sensor/etc listed on the plate. We also have blank plates available for custom setups.
