APT Manufacturing Solutions (“APT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how APT collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit websites operated by APT Manufacturing Solutions, use APT-operated web applications and online services, create or use an account, submit information through our websites, or otherwise interact with us online.

This Privacy Policy applies to APT-branded, Swivellink-branded, and ITA-branded websites, applications, and online services that are operated by APT and that link to or reference this Privacy Policy. APT, Swivellink, and ITA systems may be functionally separate and may maintain separate databases, but all are operated by APT Manufacturing Solutions.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with our websites and applications.

If you subscribe to an APT newsletter or marketing mailing list, we may collect information that you provide through the applicable signup form, such as:

Birthday
Job title or position
Company
Telephone number
Areas of interest Newsletter subscription information may be transmitted to and maintained through Mailchimp, which APT uses to manage certain email marketing communications.

Account Information

Certain APT-operated web applications, including ITA, require users to create or maintain an account. Depending on the application, account information may include:

First and last name
Email address
Address
Telephone number
Other contact information
Information associated with the user’s organization or account
Training, course, module, or application activity associated with the account APT uses its own authentication systems for these applications. Account and application information may be stored in APT-managed systems and databases hosted through Microsoft Azure. APT and ITA application databases may be maintained separately and are not necessarily interconnected.

Technical and Device Information

When you access certain APT websites or applications, we may automatically collect technical information such as:

Internet Protocol (IP) address
Browser type and version
Operating system
Device or computer information
Date and time of access
Pages or application features accessed
Referring website
General geographic information derived from an IP address
Security, authentication, and system activity information APT may use this information for application operation, troubleshooting, security, auditing, fraud and abuse prevention, support, analytics, and system administration.

2. Website Analytics

APT uses analytics technologies to understand how visitors use our websites and to improve website performance, content, and usability.

Google Analytics

APT websites use Google Analytics to collect and report information about website activity. Google Analytics may collect information such as:

Pages viewed
Time spent on pages
Website interactions
Referring websites and traffic sources
Browser and device information
Approximate geographic information
Usage patterns APT does not currently have Google Signals enabled. APT does not currently use Google Analytics Ads Personalization, remarketing, Google Ads audiences, or other advertising features. Interest reporting is not currently populated. Google Analytics may provide geographic reporting derived from visitor activity and technical information.

APT does not currently have Google Consent Mode configured. Google may process information collected through Google Analytics in accordance with Google’s own privacy policies and terms.

Hotjar

APT uses Hotjar on certain pages of the APT website to better understand how visitors interact with website content. Hotjar is not currently used on the ITA website.

APT uses Hotjar for engagement analysis such as clicks, scrolling, and page interaction. APT does not currently use Hotjar session recordings. Hotjar is not configured to capture submitted visitor information from website forms. It may, however, detect interaction activity on pages that contain forms, such as clicks or scrolling around those pages.

APT uses this information to evaluate and improve website content and usability and does not use Hotjar for the purpose of directly identifying individual website visitors.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Certain APT websites use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies. These technologies may be used for:

Website functionality
Analytics
Security
Spam and bot prevention
Embedded third-party content
Remembering settings or preferences APT does not currently use cookies for personalized advertising or behavioral advertising. Some third-party services used on APT websites may independently use cookies or similar technologies in connection with analytics, security, spam prevention, or embedded content.

You can generally manage or disable cookies through your web browser. Disabling certain cookies or similar technologies may affect website functionality or third-party services.

4. Google reCAPTCHA

Certain APT website forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect our websites from spam, automated submissions, abuse, and malicious activity. The primary APT website currently uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 through a custom integration, and the reCAPTCHA service may load across pages of that site as required by the implementation. APT may implement similar protection on additional websites in the future.

When reCAPTCHA is used, Google may collect technical and interaction information necessary to determine whether activity is being performed by a legitimate user or an automated system. This information may include:

IP address
Browser and device information
Cookies or similar identifiers
Website interaction information
Other security-related information Google’s processing of information through reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms of service.

5. YouTube Content

Certain APT websites embed videos hosted by YouTube using standard YouTube embeds. When you visit a page containing an embedded YouTube video or interact with the video, YouTube and Google may receive information about your visit and may use cookies or similar technologies. Information collected by YouTube is governed by Google’s privacy practices.

6. Website Forms

APT uses Gravity Forms on certain WordPress websites to receive information submitted by website visitors. Forms may be used for purposes such as:

General inquiries
Contact requests
Requests for information
Newsletter subscriptions
Surveys
Other business communications Information submitted through these forms may be stored in APT’s WordPress systems and may also be sent by email to appropriate APT personnel. APT currently retains certain website form submissions for business and administrative purposes and does not have a fixed automatic deletion schedule for all such submissions.

7. Email and Marketing Services

APT uses email services in connection with website-generated and application-generated communications. Information used to send these communications may therefore be transmitted through email infrastructure and email service providers used by APT.

Mailtrap

APT uses Mailtrap to send certain transactional and application-related emails, including welcome emails, password-reset emails, and blog or content-update notifications. To deliver these messages, APT may transmit a recipient’s name and email address to Mailtrap.

Mailtrap retains information associated with these email transmissions for up to 15 days. Mailtrap processes this information as an email service provider used by APT to facilitate delivery of the applicable communications.

APT also uses Mailchimp for certain newsletter and marketing communications. If you receive marketing communications from APT, you may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe mechanism contained in the applicable email. APT may continue to send non-promotional communications related to an existing business relationship, account, request, security issue, or transaction.

8. Website and Application Security

APT uses security technologies and services designed to protect its websites and systems. Certain WordPress websites use Wordfence Security. Security tools may process information such as:

IP addresses
Browser information
Web requests
Login attempts
Security events
Network and device information This information may be used to identify and prevent malicious activity, unauthorized access, spam, attacks, fraud, or other security threats. Wordfence and similar tools may log limited technical information in connection with security and spam-prevention functions.

9. How We Use Information

APT may use collected information to:

Operate and maintain our websites and applications
Create and administer user accounts
Authenticate users
Provide requested products, services, information, training, or support
Respond to questions and inquiries
Communicate with customers, prospective customers, distributors, suppliers, schools, organizations, and other business contacts
Manage newsletter subscriptions
Send requested or authorized marketing communications
Analyze website traffic and usage
Improve our websites, applications, products, services, and training content
Diagnose technical problems
Maintain system and network security
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, spam, and malicious activity
Maintain system and audit records
Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected We may also use information in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.

10. How We Disclose Information

APT may disclose information to third parties that provide services necessary to operate our websites, applications, and business. These may include providers of:

Website hosting
Cloud infrastructure and database services
Website analytics
Website security
Email delivery
Marketing communications
Spam and bot prevention
Embedded media
Information technology services Examples of service providers currently used by APT may include Microsoft, Google, Mailchimp, Mailtrap, Hotjar, YouTube, Wordfence, and other providers necessary to operate particular services. The specific providers used may change over time.

APT may also disclose information:

When required by law
In response to valid legal process
To protect APT’s rights, property, employees, customers, or users
To investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents
In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets
At your direction or with your consent

APT does not sell personal information for monetary compensation and does not buy personal information from data brokers or similar sources for use in operating these websites and applications.

APT does not currently use Google Analytics Ads Personalization, remarketing, Google Ads audiences, or similar advertising features. However, analytics, embedded-content, security, and other third-party technologies used on our websites may involve transmitting technical or usage information to service providers.

Privacy laws in some jurisdictions may define “sale,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or similar concepts more broadly than their ordinary meanings. Where an applicable law provides a right to opt out of a qualifying activity and that law applies to APT, APT will honor eligible requests as required by law.

12. Employment Applications

APT websites may provide information about employment opportunities. Job applicants may be redirected to a recruiting or applicant-management service operated through UKG/Kronos. APT’s websites do not directly process employment applications submitted through the UKG/Kronos system. Information submitted through a third-party recruiting platform is also subject to the privacy policies and practices of that provider.

13. Payments

APT’s websites and custom web applications do not currently collect or process payment card information through our websites. If this practice changes, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

14. Data Storage and Retention

Information collected through APT’s custom applications may be stored in Microsoft Azure-hosted databases and other APT-managed systems. Website form information may also be stored within APT’s WordPress environments. Information transmitted through Mailtrap for email delivery is retained by Mailtrap for up to 15 days.

APT does not currently maintain a single company-wide automatic deletion schedule for all categories of personal information. As a result, certain business records, account information, website submissions, technical information, and system records may be retained for extended periods.

APT may retain information for purposes including:

Maintaining business records
Providing services and training
Maintaining customer, organizational, and account relationships
Security
System auditing
Technical troubleshooting
Fraud, spam, and abuse prevention
Legal and regulatory compliance
Resolving disputes and maintaining evidence of transactions or communications APT may revise its retention practices as business, security, operational, contractual, and legal requirements evolve. Where applicable law requires deletion or limits retention, APT will handle eligible information in accordance with those requirements.

15. Information Security

APT maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include:

Authentication and access controls
Security monitoring
Network and application security measures
Cloud security controls
Logging and auditing
Spam and automated-attack protection
Restricted access to information No Internet transmission, computer system, application, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, APT cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your place of residence, the type of information involved, and the law that applies to APT or a particular processing activity, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information. These rights may include the right to:

Request confirmation that we process personal information about you
Request access to certain personal information
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of eligible information
Request a copy of certain information
Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where applicable
Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Appeal certain decisions regarding a privacy request where applicable
Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation These rights are subject to applicable legal requirements, exceptions, and limitations. Not every right listed above applies in every jurisdiction or to every person. APT may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

17. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Certain U.S. states have enacted consumer privacy laws that provide rights to eligible residents when specified applicability thresholds and other legal requirements are met. APT will comply with such laws when they apply to APT or to a particular processing activity.

Depending on the applicable law, eligible rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the ability to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. Some laws may also provide additional rights or appeal procedures.

APT does not currently represent that every state consumer privacy law applies to APT. Eligible requests may be submitted using the contact information provided below, and APT will evaluate requests under the law applicable to the request and the processing activity.

18. International Visitors

APT Manufacturing Solutions is located in the United States. If you access our websites or applications from outside the United States, information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or in other countries in which APT or its service providers operate. Privacy and data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your country.

Where additional privacy or data-protection obligations apply to APT because of a particular service, user relationship, or jurisdiction, APT will handle personal information in accordance with those applicable requirements.

19. Third-Party Websites and Services

APT websites may contain links to third-party websites and services. Examples may include YouTube, UKG/Kronos, distributor, customer, supplier, school, or other external websites and resources.

APT is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content of websites and services operated by third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.

20. Children’s Privacy

APT’s websites and applications are intended primarily for business, professional, educational, and training purposes and are not directed to children under the age of 13.

APT does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Certain APT applications, including ITA, may be made available to users through schools, employers, or other organizations that create and administer user accounts. APT does not collect age or date-of-birth information as part of the standard ITA account-registration process.

If APT learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent or other action under applicable law, APT will take reasonable steps to address the information appropriately.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

APT may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our websites and applications, business practices, technologies, service providers, security practices, or legal and regulatory requirements. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
